 The learning method I enjoy the most is class discussion. While some may find it intimidating to talk In front of people and share their ideas I thrive under that kind of environment. During class discussion I find it useful to compare may already pre-existing ideas with the ideas of others. Allowing me learn from multiple perspectives and feel connected to the class in a way.

 One thing that makes me different from other people is my perspective on how I view things. Since I was a small child I never really had a standard or typical raising. I was raised by my dad who was a single father untill I was around 12. It made an environment where I learned a lot from him, And he even learned from me. When I was young my father used to try to hide his emotions as he believed that's the only way you can be masculine, And he wouldn't know how to react when I as a kid and was extremely emotional almost all the time. I'm still emotional a lot of the time because my dad learned that expressing emotions is an extremely normal part of life and not something you should punish or try to make hidden. It was definitely an uncomfortable experience for him first, as he's never really had to confront his emotions in that way. So, I suppose my upbringing is what makes me different from other people. 

 The most creative thing that I've made is probably one of my cosplay projects this summer. I made a mask for a character I'm cosplaying through my friends 3-D printer. And I painted the white and red on the mask. Next I had to add the straps to keep it on my face with hot glue. Overall it wasn't hard but the whole cosplay took a lot for work to put together and it stands out to me for that reason.

   How has living in or around Atlanta influenced the way you see your community, culture, or identity? If you were speaking to someone unfamiliar with Atlanta, what would you want them to understand about your community? Living in Atlanta has influenced the way I see my community as overall it's extremely diverse. Since I was little I've been surrounded by different cultures and people, This in turn has effected my culture as I've lived in a majority Chinese area most of my life and have since sort of been introduced to their culture and identity. I would want someone who doesn't live in Atlanta to understand that this city's culture is an diverse area full of different kinds of people and cultures. I would want them to understand that the community is diverse and built on a foundation of music and food. 

     A time I felt completely lost was during my 2nd period Chemistry during my Sophomore Year with Ms. Murphy. At the start I really liked the class and Ms. Murphy, Science is my strength and I figured the math wouldn't be that bad, as it wasn't at the start. But as we kept going the content kept making less and less sense. At first I could chalk it up to myself but it felt like every quiz was like decoding a made up language. there were times where I would make low B's and High C's on the tests, Then I would get a Low C on the next one. It peaked in unit 6 where I got a 67% on a test. It was horrible and I was trying hard to do well. It just didn't click with me like it did with other people.  On reflection my studying habits were weak but not that weak. I think studying the formulas and doing practice problems would have helped me successful in that class. Honestly though, I don't really mind my deficiency in chemistry.  -Love Always, Bryson

     When I was a child I believed a lot of thing. Although, one in particular stands out to me more than the others do. When I was a child I believed that the world was a good place. I believed that people always try their hardest to do their best no matter what. I believe that this belief was the combination between myself who tried hard to be the best person I could. But also the childhood nativity and goodness that is ingrained into everyone when they are little; No one is born evil even if it sometimes feels that way.     But after a while I found out the truth, It didn't take long to reach the conclusion that the world is not a good place.
